Four-star campsite L'Estanquet in Palmyre is situated close to the beach and shops and is the perfect place for relaxation and activity.
The campsite boasts a large swimming pool with slide for hours of fun for young and old alike, plus for the little ones there's a toddlers' pool with toys. During high season, July and August, there is a kids' club with a wide variety of activities for children. Adults can enjoy sports competitions, archery, aerobics and fitness at campsite L'Estanquet. There is also a multisports field, tennis court, petanque, table tennis and billiards. Everything to keep the sporty type very happy!
If you don't fancy cooking during your holiday at campsite L'Estanquet, then don't worry as the campsite is home to a pizzeria, restaurant and take-away. Other amenities include free WiFi, a supermarket, launderette, barbecue and safe hire. Evening events during the high season include discos, shows and concerts, karaoke, bingo and other games.
The area around the campsite is best discovered by bicycle, which can be hired on the campsite itself. There is also the zoo in Palmyre, which is great for exploring with the children, plus the islands of Aix and Oléron. A day trip to the port town of La Rochelle is also highly recommended.
