First, take a dip in the large swimming pool, then on your bike to the beach! This Spanish campsite is located less than five kilometres from the Spanish coast. You can actually see the Mediterranean from the swimming pool up on the hill. Minigolf with the children? There is a lovely minigolf course at Vilanova Park campsite. Or just enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace - after your visit to the wellness complex, of course. One trip out you should not miss is a visit to Barcelona! A bus stops right outside the campsite and will take you right to this metropolis.On your bike to the beach
If you want a holiday on the Spanish Costa this year, you really should go to Vilanova Park campsite! This luxurious campsite is located between Barcelona and Tarragona in the Catalonian hills. Your stay here will be less than five kilometres from the beach. Just fifteen minutes by bike and you’ll be standing beside the Mediterranean. Get your swimming costume on right away, because you can enjoy days filled with sun, sea and sand at this Spanish campsite.Swimming round the fountain
The swimming pools are positioned between palm trees: one large swimming pool and a toddlers’ pool. They are in a sunny spot close to the entrance. If you lie down on the lawn, you can see the sea. Be sure to take a dip or race with the children down the water slides! Or splash around in the fountain which is colourfully lit at night. Go to the indoor swimming pool for a water massage or for a bubble in the whirlpool. This indoor swimming pool is part of the wellness complex which also contains a sauna and a sun room.Holidays full of entertainment
Play a round of minigolf with the children on the lovely minigolf course. Then jump round on the large bouncy castle. Or maybe they want to play football with the entertainment team at Vilanova Park campsite, that will give you time for an hour of fitness or an aerobics lesson. After such a full day you’ll want to retreat to the terrace, sit under the trees and enjoy the sea views. Vilanova Park campsite is positioned on a hillside and the camping grounds rise up considerably. You’ll be camping among mediterranean palms, between flowers and plants, which give the campsite a tropical flavour. The SunLodges are located at the back of the campsite and this luxurious Suncamp accommodation forms its own little park. There are grassy areas between the SunLodges where your children and their holiday friends can play to their hearts’ content. And not inconsequential, there is wifi on the entire campsite, so also in the SunLodges!By bus to Barcelona
Want an idea for a day out? Leave the car behind! You can be in Barcelona within an hour by bus. A bus departs for the Catalonian capital once an hour. The Ramblas, the Sagrada Família, Park Güell ... you can walk around for hours in Barcelona. If your children like football, take them to Camp Nou, FC Barcelona’s football stadium. Another great place less than a half hour drive from the campsite is the mega theme park PortAventura, where you’ll find dozens of roller coasters and other attractions. Plenty of things for days of fun.

Family orientated, swimming pools are great, football courts also, bus stops right outside campsite to go to the town, or into Barcelona. Restaurant nice, shop has great supply.

This was a hidden gem found during our google research of accommodations in Spain. There’s a great variety to choose from, whether traveling as a couple which the RV would be a perfect option, or house lodges with shower/bathroom and kitchen which is perfect for small and large families (bring your own bathroom/shower essentials and towels). It is definitely a kid-friendly campsite (all ages) with swimming pool and table tennis games, a gift and small grocery shop to meet all your basic needs and more, and a pretty good restaurant on site for a really lazy day at the campsite. They have bike trails and excursions that can be arranged at the reception; however our family took in the beautiful sites of Barcelona, Tarragona and Sitges. Parking spaces are available (no reservation required), but the wifi is only available by request (min: 2€ for 2hrs, max: 20€/week per electronic). It’s a great deal if you’re just looking for a one stop shop and fun for all, or just a central sleeping quarters while exploring the beauties of Spain. The beach is just a few minutes drive, and a good variety of local cuisines and shops for traditional flavors.
