Menina campsite is located on the edge of the Alps in northern Slovenia and at the heart of the lovely wide Savinja Valley, surrounded by forests and mountains rising up to 2500m. It's perfect for hiking, cycling and for other lovers of peace, space and the countryside who want to be active in the 'real' Slovenia.Swimming lake and other outdoor attractions
Menina campsite has a lovely swimming lake which is perfect for children. The river that runs past the camping grounds invites you to go kayaking and rafting. There is a playground with entertainment for children six times a week. Teenagers can have a great time by the camp fire or by taking part in a special teens hike tour including an overnight stay. Get your breath back in the sauna or during a massage.Eat well in the restaurant
The campsite has a good restaurant with a lively terrace. There is a baker 300 metres away and a mini-market, post office and cash machine within 2 km.From caves to the highest waterfall
Its central location makes it a perfect location for day trips to all the tourist top attractions in the country: the Postojna caves, Jeruzalem wine area, Ljubljana, Bled and the Logar Valley with Slovenia's highest waterfall on the top of the Golte mountain.

Despite being hit by a severe flood in August 2023, which destroyed almost the entire campsite, Camping Menina has worked tirelessly over the past six months to restore everything. We are proud to announce that all facilities are now at least at the previous level, if not better.

Het is een geweldige familie camping waar voor jong en oud meer dan genoeg te doen is. De sfeer is fantastisch en het personeel is meer dan vriendelijk!

De camping is druk, rommelig en onoverzichtelijk. Personeel is vriendelijk en toegankelijk.

Een gezellige familie camping. Geschikt voor kinderen in alle leeftijden. Alles staat door elkaar waardoor het rommelig oogt maar het is daardoor juist super gezellig!! Het eten en drinken is goed en zeker niet duur! De camping eigenaren zijn heel gezellig en behulpzaam! Wij zijn erg tevreden over onze vakantie wel veel Nederlanders en Nederlandse animatie. Wij vinden dit erg gezellig maar als je daar niet van houd dan moet je nier naar deze camping gaan! Sanitair is goed en er wordt goed schoongemaakt. Houd er wel rekening mee als je komt voor het raften en kanoën dan lukt dit niet als er lange tijd geen water is gevallen. Helaas stond de rivier veel te laag. Toch heel veel leuke dingen te doen in het prachtige en groene Slovenië.
Wij hebben drie kinderen van 9, 12 en 14 ze hebben een super tijd gehad! Bedankt personeel van Medina wie weet tot ooit!!!
