Beach holiday in the dunes of North Holland

A holiday destination just one and a half kilometres from the North Sea and which offers a heated swimming pool with water slides. There are also playgrounds for the children, entertainment for young and old and a pizzeria restaurant. Callassande Holiday Park in Callantsoog in North Holland has almost everything you expect from a modern holiday park. Holiday by the North Sea

Callassande Holiday park is located in Callantsoog, an attractive seaside resort in the ‘Kop van Noord-Holland.’ The park is a stone's throw from the dunes and close to the sea. The nearest sandy beach is just one and a half kilometres away. An added attraction: this region is known for its clean and safe beaches. That's great, because you will definitely want to spend plenty of time there! The village of Callantsoog is also always agreeable. Here you will find small shops, some restaurants and sometimes a local market.

Even more fun in the water

There’s more than enough to do in the actual holiday park, and there’s also plenty of fun in the water here. It has a large heated swimming pool, including a wonderful water slide. There is a separate toddlers’ pool for the little ones. There are also plenty of playgrounds, but you can also enjoy outdoor sports. Table tennis, tennis, jeu de boules: anything’s possible. Even a round on a golf course is possible; there is one just five kilometres from the holiday park.

Fun with Koos the Rabbit

There is an entertainment programme for children at least twice a week. The little ones can enjoy activities at the kids’ club at least four times a week. For example, spend a morning doing crafts together with Koos the Rabbit! If you’re hungry after a day of swimming and playing, you will find a wide range of provisions and fresh bread in the campsite shop at the entrance. However, with a snack bar, pizzeria and restaurant, cooking for yourself is not always necessary.

Dutch glory

As well as the beach and the sea, there are plenty of other things to do in the area around Callassande. Admire the colourful bulbfields in spring or venture out to typical Dutch places such as lovely Alkmaar, maritime Den Helder, picturesque Volendam or the windmills of Zaanse Schans. But the bustling city of Amsterdam and the seaside resort of Egmond aan Zee are also worth visiting. If you prefer a quiet day out, go on one of the many cycling or walking routes and get moving.
