The campground even features a branch of Kiewiet Bicycle Rental, where you can easily rent a cargo bike, e-bike, or a bike with a child seat. There’s no shortage of scenic walking trails either. For a spectacular view, hike to the highest dune on the island, the Oerdblinkert.

As a guest at Camping Duinoord, you’ll have access to modern and well-maintained facilities. Across the campsite, you’ll find several sanitary buildings with warm showers. There are also outdoor showers to rinse off the sand after a day at the beach. Staying on Ameland for an extended period? The campsite offers a laundry room equipped with washing machines, dryers, and ironing facilities.For a meal or a quick snack, head to the canteen or snack bar, where you’ll find a variety of snacks and pizzas that you can even take back to your campsite. There’s also a supermarket on-site offering fresh bread and camping essentials.
