Cosy family campsite in a watery environment

Camping De Lente van Drenthe is a real family campsite in nature. It is a cosy campsite on the edge of Boswachterij Gieten-Borger, close to two swimming lakes. Ideal for a nice day of water fun. The campsite also offers lots of activities for the whole family.

Swimming pool and two lakes

Will you go for the refreshing swimming pool or opt for one of the tourist lakes? Camping De Lente van Drenthe is located next to two clear lakes: Het Nije Hemelriek and ’t Gasserveld. Very nice for a day of water fun. The beach pools are surrounded by beautiful woods. It is an ideal place for those looking for peace and quiet, for walking and cycling enthusiasts and for families with young children. For the little ones, the campsite also has a paddling pool.

Time for action!

For the children there is plenty to do at Camping De Lente van Drenthe. There are various playgrounds and sports fields for a game of tennis, football or volleyball. There is also entertainment for all ages. The little ones can go to the crafts club and there are regular performances. Of course, this campsite also has a boules court and a table tennis table. And there is even a recreation hall and an amphitheatre for even more entertainment.

The paths on…

Do you like going out, walking a trail or cycling a beautiful bike route? Several routes can be started from the campsite. You can hire bikes, including mountain bikes, at the campsite. After such an active day, it is of course lovely to eat at the campsite. You can always get the groceries you need at the small shop on the campsite. Don't feel like cooking yourself? There is also a snack bar for a tasty snack. Or drop in at the Koerscafé for coffee, lunch, dinner or a delicious drink.

Gnome forest and theme parks nearby

There is also plenty to do for the children near De Lente van Drenthe camp site. For the little ones there is a gnome forest in Eext in Drenthe and there are no fewer than two theme parks in the area: Attractiepark Sprookjeshof and Park Drouwenerzand. Do you like doing a safari expedition? Wildlands in Emmen is nearby. For climbing and clambering, take a trip to the Grolloo climbing park. In short, there is plenty to do for the whole family.
