Campsite right by the lake
Gasparina is a cosy, relatively small-scale campsite on the south-eastern tip of Lake Garda. The campsite is clearly laid out and within a few steps, you can reach the grass and pebble beach on the banks of Lake Garda. It's lovely to spend an afternoon on the sunbathing area by the lovely beach bar. You can walk calmly and safely into the water from the beach. For additional comfort and ease, water shoes are recommended.
Swimming pools for all
At Gasparina campsite, not only can you jump into the lake but also in one of the swimming pools for the whole family. There is a special paddling pool with a slide for the youngest children, a pool where you can swim laps and a relaxation pool with hydromassage. The swimming pools are not heated, providing you with a wonderful place to cool down on hot summer days. The enthusiastic entertainment team is multi-lingual and organises fun activities for children aged 4 to 10 in the high season. For example, the foam party at the edge of the swimming pool is the highlight of the holiday for many children. There is also a colourful sand playground, and you can play table tennis.
Discover the beach bar and the restaurant
If you would like to enjoy a stunning sunset by the lake, go and have an ice cream or drink at Bar La Barchetta where you can also have breakfast by the water. Restaurant Oasi, opposite the pool, is the right address for the best Italian dishes. If you'd rather cook yourself, there is a supermarket with fresh bread and a wide selection to complete your campsite breakfast or barbecue.
Glamping in a SunLodge at Gasparina campsite
The campsite is surrounded by trees, which provides many shaded pitches. If you choose to stay in a SunLodge, your holiday at this campsite will be even more luxurious! Our newest generation of SunLodges, the Katsura, Sabai and Babul, have been provided with air-conditioning, private toilet and washing facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, a covered patio and extra thick mattresses for a wonderful night's sleep at the campsite. Now, that is glamping!
The most beautiful villages at Lake Garda
One of the advantages of this campsite is that you can leave the car parked up if you want to explore the surrounding area. It is nice and quiet and good for the environment too! For example, it is only a 15-minute cycle to the lively town of Peschiera Del Garda. The town is completely car free too. Other lovely towns to sample the Italian atmosphere are Sirmione, Lazise and Bardolino. If you prefer an active and adventurous excursion, following the Parco delle Cascate walking trails will take you past several waterfalls with amazing views of the mountains! And daredevils take note: the campsite is only a 10-minute walk from the large Gardaland amusement park, and you can reach Movieland and CanevaWorld within a 15-minute cycle. You can buy entrance tickets for a discount at the campsite's reception. Good to know with all those nice cycling distances: there is bike hire next to the campsite.
