Lake garda is simply beautiful - pescheria is a perfect central location for exploring the lake - close to the ferry and transport roots and is very pretty in itself - easy to drive to from the airport and for self catering there are cheap supermarkets close by and lovely restaurants around - it can be a bit touristy but opens up the possibility to explore the north of the lake which is breath taking

Stayed on Camping Bella Italia in Peschiera del Garda in August 2016

Good location. Easy access. Great scenery and lake. Nice town within easy walking distance. Take wetsuit type shoes. Waling into the lake over the stones can be difficult and uncomfortable. Don't book verona opera tickets too early-wait for the weather forecast. When we went it was only half full and we didn't get any refund when it was called off early.

With it being situated on the banks of Lake Garda it has stunning scenery, there is also lots to do whether you are very active or like to take it easy and move at a more gentle pace.
