General information
Own beach at Lake Trasimeno
A holiday on a cosy Italian campsite? At Badiaccia Camping Village you will stay under old olive trees and surrounded by beautiful nature and medieval villages. Children will love the large swimming pool or the many activities and sports pitches. A visit to Maggiore, one of the islands in the lake, is a nice outing for all ages.
Beach holiday by Lake Trasimeno
At the edge of Umbria, the Lago di Trasimeno shines. The lively campsite is beautifully situated on a bay to the west of this Italian lake. From the campsite beach you can enjoy the photogenic view of the distant hills. Badiaccia Camping Village is situated next to the Tuscan border and this central location is ideal for countless day trips. Within half an hour you can be on the famous steps of the attractive square in Perugia, the capital of Umbria.
Floating on the lake
Badiaccia Camping Village is the ideal place for children who love water. The beautiful large pool with water slides is the favourite spot for many guests. But also the floating on an air mattress on Lake Trasimeno is fun for the whole family. Small boats can moor in the bay where the campsite beach is also located. Toddlers can play in their own little pool next to Lake Trasimeno.
Cabaret and climbing equipment
Apart from romping around with peers on the beach or by the pool, there is also a lot to do at the friendly kids club. The youngest ones can let off steam by painting, climbing on the climbing equipment or riding on the camping train. Teenagers play a game of volleyball on the large lawn next to the beach and in the evening they might even show off their talents at the disco and cabaret shows.
Local dishes and ice cream after
Who would like to try the specialities of Umbria? At the end of a wonderful day of holidays, take a seat at the covered terrace, where they also serve fresh pizzas. And delicious desserts, just look at the showcase full of different flavours of Italian ice cream. Something different? Drive to a restaurant near the campsite, where children are more than welcome.
(Water) cycling together
Would you like to visit a historic town every now and then to get that real holiday feeling? Take a bike and ride to Castiglione del Lago, 8 kilometres away. The centuries-old fortress and the streets of the old centre are beautiful. From the campsite there is a lovely cycle path along the waterfront. Another fun option is to discover the special surroundings from the water with a rented kayak or pedalo.
