Camping 2 Laghi ****

Camping 2 Laghi ****

Camp by one of Europe’s warmest lakes

This Italian campsite is located in a unique spot in the Italian Alps. You will be camping right between two lakes, with Lake Levico on one side and Lake Caldonazzo on the other. With its large water park, this is the number one campsite for water enthusiasts. Interesting fact: the two lakes are also famous for being the warmest lakes in Europe. That’s something to look forward to! And with all that natural and impressive mountain scenery surrounding you, you’ll have wonderful views while swimming. There is also a really great entertainment programme at this friendly family campsite.

The north Italian fjords

An elongated lake surrounded by forests and mountain landscapes; you could almost imagine you are in the Norwegian fjords. But when you test the water, you’ll know you are in Italy. Lake Levico is actually one of the warmest lakes in Europe. There are lovely footpaths along the shores. And the Canneto di Levico is situated right next to the campsite. This is protected marshland where you can discover many species of birds.

Warm water

With such a lovely water temperature it’s a real treat to take a dip in one of the lakes. 2 Laghi Campsite has its own grassy beach by the water, so you can walk into the water straight from the campsite. Lake Levicon has achieved the ‘Blue Flag’ award since 2015, which is a guarantee that the water is clean and safe. Dogs are welcome provided they are kept on a lead. If you prefer a sandy beach like the ones at the seaside, you should go to Lake Caldonazzo. This is a few minutes away and the water temperature is just as nice. You still want a swimming pool? Well, the campsite has three of them; for you and your children.

Something different every day

One of you might want an exciting volleyball competition, while the other one wants to make things in the miniclub. There’s something new on the programme every day. The entertainment team is multilingual, so there’s fun for everyone. If your children want to do their own thing for a day, they can go to one of the playgrounds. And they can dance away the evenings in the minidisco.

Two lakes, two restaurants

If you are ready to discover Trentino’s cuisine, you can choose from two restaurants. Caffè 2 Laghi is specially for camping guests and is located next to one of the playgrounds, so you can enjoy a drink while the children are playing. The other restaurant, Bandus Braci e Pizza offers delicious meat and fish dishes from the grill. Local residents also like to come here to eat.

Sugana Valley

Sugana Valley has for centuries been one of the most important valleys in Trentino. The region is nowadays renowned for its magnificent cycling and walking trails. There are challenging trails, but also routes for the whole family. Discover the beautiful mountain lakes together and imagine you are in unspoiled countryside. You can book trips at the campsite or rent a bike.

An undiscovered gem

If you feel like absorbing some culture, a visit to Trento is highly recommended! A long time ago this was a Celtic town which was later conquered by the Romans. Trento was for many years part of Austria, it only became part of Italy after the First World War. History is all around you in this charming town, with its castle, palaces and cathedral. And best of all; it’s not too touristy.

Couple

Gezellig, ruim van opzet. Vriendelijk personeel

8.0

Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Het is een grote camping met verschillende groottes plekken. Sommige konden met de caravan niet de bocht maken \"het straatje\" in. Dat maakt het voor sommige niet erg handig.
Verder prima toilethok met voldoende wc\'s en douches.

Couple

Eenvoudige camping, met zwembad, zonder wifi, alleen op 2 plaatsen, veel bomen, dus veel schaduwplekken. In een prachtige omgeving.
