Solcio campsite is located on the picturesque Lake Maggiore in a lovely quiet cove. The comfortable campsite has pitches on grassy ground with sufficient shade.Numerous water sports on the lake
The campsite has a bar and restaurant/pizzeria with views of the lake. There is a shop at Solcio campsite and you can try out all types of water sports: diving, canoeing, pedalo boats. There are mooring places for boats and an attractive beach with deck chairs and parasols. Many activities are organised in high season; dance and music evenings, sports tournaments and there is also a baby club.Sponda grassa and much more…
Lake Maggiore is located among beautifully contrasting mountains, and there are lovely and lively towns on the undulating banks of the shore, such as Locarno, Ascona, Cannobio, Verbania, Luino, with northern Italy’s biggest market, and Stressa. Each one a shopper’s paradise with art and crafts and great markets. Other tips are the abundant parks and gardens, villas and palaces on the ‘sponda grassa’, the mountain countryside, the shopping paradise of Milan, the islands in the lake and the Lago Maggiore Express.
