A holiday near Rome and the Mediterranean Sea? This luxury campsite is located between the Italian capital and the beach. Here you will be camping in the middle of the Pineta di Castel Fusano nature reserve. From the campsite it is less than thirty kilometres to the centre of Rome. You can also easily reach Rome by public transport from campsite Roma Capitol. A nice thought with that hectic Italian traffic. And the sea? It’s only a five-minute drive away. So get ready for a holiday full of city trips and beach visits!
 

Swimming pools in the sun

Camping Village Roma Capitol has three swimming pools. You can swim laps in the competition pool. But if you would rather relax in the water with the sun above you, then you can let yourself be pampered with a hydro massage in the large pool. The children can have hours of fun in the paddling pool. If you prefer to be in the shade, then have a lie down under one of the pine trees. Or choose a seat on the terrace of the modern bar. Enjoying a cool drink at the pool; that's a real holiday.
 

Serving balls on the tennis court

Football, tennis, volleyball: every sport has a sports field at this campsite. Sports enthusiasts will have a great time at Camping Village Roma Capitol. Help the children practice their back hand, or go play with them in the playground. But the entertainment team also knows how to keep children busy. With water games and sports tournaments for example.
 

A sun holiday in a SunLodge

The campsite is situated between some large pine trees. The tall trees provide shady spots. You can also choose a pitch in the sun. Do you want to enjoy the sun, but still keep things cool? Then stay in one of the SunLodges. The SunLodge Catalpa and BigLeaf have air conditioning. In these luxury mobile homes it is always nice and cool. If you’d still like to enjoy the sun, then there’s a DuoLounger waiting outside.
 

Rome

If you come to Camping Roma Capitol, then of course you will want to see Rome. The Italian capital is less than an hour's drive from the campsite. Handy, because then you can visit Rome several times during your holiday. That’s good, because it is impossible to see this great city in just one day. You’ll need one day for admiring the Pantheon and the Coliseum. The next day for visiting Villa Borghese and the Forum Romanum. And the day after for exploring Vatican City. There’s plenty to do in Rome!

Family with children, various ages

Great camping. There is everything you need for a wonderful vacation! Friendly staff, large pools with hydromassage.

Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Currently only about 30-40% occupied so there is lots of space. There is lots of work going on which will make it very nice when it’s completed. However this means diggers and lorries flying up and down throughout the day.
I probably wouldn’t come again until the work is completed.
