Lake Idro is situated in the region of Lombardy at the foot of the Dolomites. Camping at Lake Idro has its own charm. You will totally enjoy the peace and quiet with a view of the mountain tops that can reach up to a thousand metres but the lake also entices you to do something active. You will be able to go kite surfing, canoeing or fishing for example.

A great day out is a trip to the wonderful Alto Garda Bresciano Natural Park. You will be able to take lovely hikes through this wild landscape filled with flora and fauna. You could also opt for a climbing trip over the many imposing mountain paths around Lake Idro. You will find plenty of hiking routes here.

• Brescia
  There are characteristic buildings from the Middle Ages and Renaissance in Brescia’s old city centre. Admire the excavations from Roman times, the Broletto – a palace from 1230- and the absolutely beautiful Duomo, Brescia’s cathedral with its famous cupola.
• Verona
  The city of Verona is just as beautiful. You will find the world’s second largest amphitheatre here. The Verona Arena is still in use and there are regular opera shows. Also visit the medieval Castel San Pietro and the Basilica of San Zeno.
