Just imagine: you are enjoying your breakfast at a campsite in the northern Italian sun. Then to get the day off to a good start you prepare for your morning dive. But which swimming pool should you go to? This is the reality at Marina Julia Family Camping Village on the Adriatic Coast. This well-maintained campsite has not one, not two, but five swimming pools! There is no end to the recreational and entertainment choices. This means that not only your children, but also you will have the holiday of a lifetime at this wonderful campsite.
The five swimming pools are of course the main feature of the Marina Julia Family Camping Village. The diving pool really is the highlight. There are several diving boards to jump from. High, higher highest! But there is also an Olympic sized swimming pool for swimming lengths, a paddling pool for the little ones, a rapids pool that you float through on a tube and a multi-purpose slide where you can challenge your friends (and parents) to see who can get to the bottom first. If you prefer to go to the beach, you don't have to go far to get your feet wet in the sea. You can walk straight from the campsite to the beach on the Adriatic Sea. Here you can sunbathe undisturbed on your own private beach.
You won’t get bored on dry land either. The campsite is equipped with the best facilities and offers plenty of opportunities for recreation. Entertainment for the children, sports fields, playgrounds and lovely cycling and walking routes around the campsite. There are plenty of trees on the green fields so you can get some shade now and again. You don't have to leave the campsite for a delicious breakfast or an Italian pizza, as there is a small shopping centre with several shops, a supermarket, chip shop and restaurant.
Friuli-Venezia-Giula may not be the most famous part of Italy, but that is one of its charms! You will find unspoilt Italy in nearby Trieste and the surrounding villages, and it won’t be crowded with many tourists. Beautiful castles, attractive towns, picturesque coastal roads and all on the warm Adriatic Sea. If you’re looking for something a bit more lively, go out and explore the area. The wooded border with Slovenia is easy to find, but a day trip to cultural Venice is also recommended. All the ingredients for a wonderful summer holiday are here.
