Lovely family campsite by the Baltic Sea

The Markgrafenheide campsite is located directly on the white beaches of the Baltic Sea, near Rostock. You will be camping in a real holiday paradise here. Camping Markgrafenheide is located right behind the dunes and you can walk along a short footpath to what is probably the most beautiful stretch of beach in Northern Germany. The campsite is located just above Rostock in natural landscape of about 30 hectares.

Countryside, culture and adventure

Camping and Ferienpark Markgrafenheide is an ideal holiday destination at any time of the year, whether you want an active holiday or like the countryside and culture. The campsite itself offers many opportunities for sport, including tennis and squash. You can take lovely beach walks here in spring and autumn. You can also hire bikes, even e-bikes at the campsite. The stylish spa/wellness centre has a lovely new swimming pool, solarium and sauna facilities and much more. You can also go to the cinema area. These amenities are also great in the low seasons.

Relaxed camping or in a nice house

The relaxing atmosphere in the grounds of the Markgrafenheide campsite is striking. Some of the camping pitches are positioned under trees, however there are also pitches with less shade. There are lovely bungalows and holiday homes with a veranda and patio available for those who want them. The open-air cocktail bar is a favourite meeting point. You can also eat in the on-site restaurant.

Warnemünde and the Hanseatic town of Rostock

There is plenty to see in the vicinity of Camping Markgrafenheide: the lively harbour of Warnemünde, where gigantic cruise ships from all over the world moor, or the old Hanseatic city of Rostock with its parks and Baroque buildings. There are several ferry services linking Warnemünde and Rostock and with the towns in the bay where Markgrafenheide is located. The Ozeaneum (a sea aquarium) is also worth visiting.

Im hinteren Teil war auf den Stellplätzen kein Rasen gemäht / Abends war überhaupt nichts los - Pokalfinale / W-LAN lieber garnicht ausschreiben

Der Campingplatz ist schön aber ich finde die Möglichkeiten zu wenig auf dem Platz.
Freundlich waren auch alle ausser ein wachmann der schon ziemlich dreist reagiert hat weil wir ein Schild seiner Meinung nach nicht richtig gelesen haben.

Der Campingplatz ist gut gelegen und sehr strandnah. Es sind ein Supermarkt, ein Kino, ein Mini-Golfplatz und Restaurants vorhanden. Leider ist die Hygiene in den Waschräumen mehr als mangelhaft. Dies reicht von verschmutzten Toiletten und Waschbecken bis hin zu verschimmelten Duschen. Es steht zu wenig Personal zur Verfügung, um die Sauberkeit zu gewährleisten. Negativ war auch, dass Männer in den Waschräumen der Frauen sauber machen.

Ein Super Campingplatz, wir waren das erste Mal dort und hatten einen wirklich schönen Bungalow. Ansonsten könnten für die Kinder mehr und schönere Spielplätze errichtet werden, auch der kleine Tierpark sieht recht traurig aus. Aber im Großen und Ganzen waren wir echt zufrieden und werden sicher wieder kommen.

I\'m allgemeinen schön. Nur die Sauberkeit der Sanitär Anlagen ist grauenhaft. Es wird zwar kontinuierlich der Boden gewischt. Der Dreck der an den Wänden und Abtrennung der Duschen und WCs klebt wird nicht entfernt
