General information
Swimming, hiking and visiting towns in the Black Forest
Swim in a heated pool, eat in a fine restaurant, visit picturesque towns and discover the beautiful places of the Black Forest. Camping Kinzigtal offers everything you need for an unforgettable camping holiday with the whole family. You won't get bored on the campsite, but there is also plenty to discover in the surrounding area. Whether you prefer to visit an old castle or enjoy a trip through nature.
Take a dip in a heated pool
The campsite is located in a beautiful valley in the middle of the Black Forest. The campsite is located directly on a small river. But during your stay, you will probably spend most of your time by the swimming pool. It is a lovely heated swimming pool of about 300 metres. For the children there is a slide and for the toddlers there is a paddling pool. In addition, right next to the campsite you will find Freibad Steinach, a large outdoor pool for the whole family. Or would you rather visit one of the larger indoor water parks in the area?
Fun for the whole family
For children there is plenty to do at Camping Kinzigtal. They can play by the river, in the playground or in the recreation room. Of course there is also room for a game of table tennis. While the children are having fun, make use of the fishing facilities, play some tennis or have a German beer in the beer garden. If you don't feel like cooking for a while, end the day with the whole family in the restaurant. A delicious German meal will be provided for you here.
Discover southern German culture
This campsite is surrounded by special attractions. For example, you can visit picturesque cities such as Gengenbach or Freiburg. For shopping, visiting a museum or just strolling through atmospheric streets. Or how about a medieval castle? Less than 12 kilometres from the campsite you will find Burg Husen, a beautiful castle ruïne from the Middle Ages. It is also good to know that you are less than a 45-minute drive away from Europa-Park, Germany's largest and most beautiful amusement park.
Behold the Black Forest
The uniqueness of this family-friendly campsite is above all that you are in the middle of the Black Forest. This is your chance to discover this beautiful natural area with the whole family. Several cycling and hiking routes are available from the campsite. Drive by car to the waterfalls of Triberg (32 km). These are the highest waterfalls in Germany and definitely worth a visit.
