Camping le Lac Bleu - Ciela Village

Camping le Lac Bleu - Ciela Village

Dreamy holidays by a blue lake

A real family campsite where water literally takes centre stage. This is camping KOAWA Le Lac Bleu. Here you will spend your holidays around a lake that is bluer than blue. Not only the lake, but also the swimming pool at the campsite guarantee plenty of water fun. With so much water nearby, you and your children can't go wrong!

Mountains all around you

The campsite is located in the middle of the Drôme river valley. From here you can enjoy the most beautiful views of the French Alps. Not only is there plenty of water, there is also plenty of nature. In fact, Le Lac Bleu is located in the heart of the Vercors nature reserve. Greenery is all around you.

In the lake or in the pool

Get ready for a holiday full of water fun at and around camping KOAWA Le Lac Bleu. Swim and play in the lake or in the campsite's indoor swimming pool. You can walk directly to one of the beaches. There you can sunbathe on the lakeside. It is great fun to splash in the water with your children and go down one of the slides. You can alternate this with a splash in the campsite's indoor pool. There is also a paddling pool for the little ones. For those who want to relax, there is a jacuzzi.

On the water and on land

As well as swimming, the lake is ideal for other water activities. You can canoe, pedal-boat or take a meal. Would you prefer to stay dry for a while? There is a court where you can play badminton and volleyball. Of course, for that real French holiday feeling, you can also play a game of petanque. In July and August, the children's club organises craft mornings and sports tournaments.

Enjoy the view

A great way to end a day at Le Lac Bleu is on the terrace of the restaurant. Here you have a beautiful view over the water and the mountains beyond. It is also nice not to have to cook for the evening. For groceries there is a small shop on the campsite. This is also where you can buy your morning baguettes and croissants. For more extensive shopping you can go to the nearby town of Châtillon-en-Diois (4 km) or a little further away in Die (11 km). In the latter town you can stay a little longer, as it is a good place to grab a terrace and visit the beautiful old centre.

Picnic in a gorge

Die is not just a fun place to visit. There is plenty to see and do in and around KOAWA camping Le Lac Bleu. You can walk straight into the nature reserve. Here you can cycle, hike and enjoy the vast pine and beech forests. Explore the Gorges des Gâts with your children. This impressive gorge is less than 10 minutes from the campsite. You can make the walk as long as you like. Stop off at one of the many picnic areas along the way. Finish your day where you started. An evening walk along the shore of Le Lac Bleu is a nice way to end the day.
