In the western French region of Vendée, Camping Les Amiaux is situated in an extensive park of 16 hectares, just 700 metres from a beach of fine sand and on the edge of woods. What more ideal setting could there be for a camping holiday? The Camping Les Amiaux entertainment team know how to keep your whole family happy: they organise disco nights, karaoke evenings and shows. Children are, of course, not left out: there’s a mini-club just for them.
But the best thing of all at Camping Les Amiaux is the swimming: there’s a covered pool with jacuzzi and an outdoors pool with five exciting slides. Sun worshippers are at the right campsite here, too: there’s plenty of loungers around the pool. The versatile restaurant at Camping Les Amiaux has something to suit every palate: you can order pizza or frites, or of course indulge in the justly famed traditional French cuisine. Takeaways are also available. Camping Les Amiaux also boasts a bar, games hall, laundry room and on-site shop. St-Jean-de-Monts, the local town, is the point of departure for numerous trips through the area, such as the Île d’Yeu (reached from the bathing resort of Fromentine); the former marshlands for which the Vendée was historically known; and the port town of St-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.
