Campsite Sandaya Les Alicourts Resort is located in the heart of France, about two hours’ drive from Paris. You'll find the campsite amongst the woods of Loir-et-Cher. This region under Orléans and the Loire is called the Sologne. The French nobility built several castles and hunting lodges here in the past. No wonder, when you see the vast forests and beautiful countryside. The hunting lodges and castles are great for visiting!From pirate ship to private beach
Water slides, a pirate ship and a paddling pool: the aqua park is one big play paradise for children. They can run from one pool to the other. Adults will love the pools, too; especially the lagoon, where you can float around and relax. You can also sunbathe on the beach, because this campsite in the heart of France has its own sandy beach! It's on a large natural lake. Dive into the cool water or take the stand-up-paddle board out onto the blue. Are you adventurous? The Castle of Chambord, for example, is an hour's drive from the campsite. This largest castle in the Loire Valley has as many as 440 rooms! You can show your children impressive spaces such as the king's bedroom and the coach house. Did you get a taste for visiting castles? There are many more castles on the Loire. The Castle of Sully-sur-Loire, for example, is half an hour's drive away.

Great pool facilities, entertainment too late and loud. Poor service and availability of products in bar and shop. Queues too long particularly bar and restaurant. Unable to book water activities
