Camping Les Charmes

Camping Les Charmes

Sun, nature and culture in the Dordogne

Luxury swimming pools, a playground for the children, a restaurant with delicious pizza’s and natural surroundings full of sights. Enjoy a family holiday at Les Charmes campsite. Here you look out over beautiful forests and hills. From the campsite, you can make great day trips to charming villages or prehistoric caves.

Luxury swimming pools

The campsite is surrounded by nature. Here you can enjoy beautiful views over the Dordogne forests. This view is best admired from the swimming pool. The Dordogne is known for its beautiful weather. Therefore, there is of course a fine outdoor pool én an indoor heated pool with a retractable roof. Here you can relax in your deckchair while the children go down the slide. Nearby you will even find more water parks and of course the Dordogne River, where you can have a nice swim.

For the children there is plenty to do

This campsite is very child-friendly. When the children get tired of swimming, they have fun in the playground. There they clamber around on the luxury playground equipment or jump on the bouncy castle. For smaller children there is a special play corner. Of course, at Camping Les Charmes there is also room for a game of table tennis or petanque. The children can enjoy themselves while you enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace of the bistro. Here you can once again enjoy the beautiful view. End the day with a delicious pizza in the restaurant.

Stay in luxury and explore the surroundings

Those in need of comfort will naturally stay in one of the luxury accommodations. From there, you can explore the surroundings. In the Dordogne, you will find various sights that are absolutely not to be missed. Think of La Roque-Gageac, an elongated medieval village located on a cliff, and other picturesque villages. You will also find the most beautiful castles, lush nature and several caves. Or take a canoe trip down the Dordogne river.

Capital of prehistory

Explore the exceptional surroundings near Les Charmes campsite. The Dordogne is known as the capital of prehistory. Take La Roque Saint-Christophe. This is a magnificent rock where you walk past prehistoric cave dwellings. Also visit the caves in the Vézère-valley. And admire the extraordinary prehistoric cave paintings.
