This campsite is located in the charming Dordogne, the perfect place for a holiday full of adventure. Surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque hills, camping Le Pech Charmant also offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Living in the brewery
Lovers of the typical French outdoor life will find what they are looking for at this campsite. Although life in the park tends to be quiet, there is almost always life in and around the swimming pool. Take a refreshing dip or relax on one of the sun loungers. The pool is well laid out and there is a children's pool where the little ones can play safely. Retreat to the sauna or Jacuzzi for that extra bit of relaxation, or take a seat at the poolside bar for a nice drink.
On the move
There is no shortage of adventure at Camping Le Pech Charmant. As well as bowling, there is table tennis, horse riding, archery, canoeing and kayaking. There is an entertainment programme for children and teenagers and several cycling and walking routes lead from the park into the surrounding area. At least twice a week an activity is organised in the area - the perfect way to see some of the beautiful Dordogne!
Enjoy the restaurant and bar
Every morning you can make the short walk to the campsite shop for fresh rolls and your daily shopping. The restaurant offers a wide range of local dishes and twice a week there is a special theme night with a variety of regional dishes. From the bar terrace you can enjoy views over the surrounding meadows. Would you rather “stay at home”? The snack bar and pizzeria are within easy reach, or you can cook your own meal.
Historic Dordogne
The Dordogne is one of the most interesting regions in France - especially historically! Les Eyzies-de-Tayac is considered the capital of prehistory. Make sure you take the time to visit some of the interesting sites in the area. See prehistoric paintings in the caves of Lascaux. For medieval streets, spend a day in Sarlat (23km), where you will find many lovely shops and markets. Not to mention the many castles that bear witness to the region's rich history.
