A family paradise on the Croatian coast

Sun, sea and swimming pools: this campsite on the Croatian coast is for those who enjoy life. The swimming pool complex at Zaton Holiday Resort campsite is one of the largest on the Adriatic coast. With a water playground and various pools, young and old can enjoy the water here. It is only a few steps from the swimming pools to the beach, where you can lay on the sand or swim in the Adriatic Sea. There is plenty to do at the campsite: from horse riding to tennis, from shopping to windsurfing. Get ready for a luxury beach holiday in Croatia.
 

Beach holiday right by the Adriatic Sea

This campsite is right by the Adriatic Sea. Here, you have a holiday on the Croatian coast, at 15 km from the town of Zadar. With 1 1/2 kilometres of sandy and pebble beach, it's a wonderful place for sunbathing. And the clear blue Adriatic Sea calls out for a swim! Water sports enthusiasts can go to the water sports centre for diving lessons or a windsurfing adventure. The kids will not believe their eyes when they see the inflatable park in the sea.
 

Swimming pool complex by the sea

You can choose: swimming in one of the pools or in the Adriatic Sea. This campsite's aqua park is right by the sea. The youngest swimmers will choose the swimming pool complex and not only for the paddling pool but also for the large water climbing frame. They can also run through the sprinklers in the water playground. You can relax in the large pool or in the raised baths.
 

Busy days

Horse riding lessons today (a special ride on the beach!), and an archery class tomorrow. The children can learn something new every day at this campsite. And with the entertainment team, there is no chance they will get bored. There are also fun things to do together at the Zaton Holiday Resort campsite. You can have a game of football or play miniature golf on the lovely golf course, for example. The large tennis court complex is there for those who fancy a swing of the racket. End your day with a musical performance or spectacular show at the open-air theatre. 
 

Shopping street to the beach

You could have a stylish dinner with regional Croatian dishes and a nice glass of wine. Or a pizza and then ice cream for dessert. It's up to you. The campsite has a lovely shopping street that goes right to the beach. There you will find restaurants and a large supermarket.
 

Culture and countryside in Croatia

The campsite organises a range of excursions, including to the old city of Zadar with its ancient cathedrals and wonderful location by the sea. It is a great destination. Croatia also has lovely countryside. Go to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, with its large waterfalls. It's a two-hour drive but certainly worth your while. Or take a boat trip to see the Kornati islands: 140 islands in the Adriatic Sea.

Grote camping met alle voorzieningen. Diverse winkeltjes, restaurants en een treintje wat elk (half) uur op en neer reid naar ziwel het strand als (tegen betaling) naar het naastgelegen plaatsje nin. Ruime opzet en parkeren naast de stacaravan

Camping is heel groot maar wel goed schoon als je een beetje pech hebt moet je elke dag een flink stuk lopen. Overal moet voor worden betaald en bij het zwembad is het niet toegestaan om eigen parasol/buggy/bolderkar/enz mee te nemen. Voor de bedjes en parasols moet worden betaald 35 kn per bed/parasol zijn ze allemaal bezet lig/zit je met je handdoek op de grond dan wel stenenmuur dat is echt minder.

geweldige camping zeer goede service mooi zwembad voor grote maar ook kleine kinderen jammer dat je elke dag voor een bedje of parasol moet betalen, maar het mag de pret niet drukken ook jammer als je geld pint op de camping dat er 35 procent kosten bij komen

De camping is super schoon en er is echt voldoende te doen. Het enige nadeel vonden wij dat er in de ochtend een enorme rij bij het zwembad stond om handdoekje te leggen. Sommige mensen kwamen echter pas in de middag terug om te gaan zwemmen. Personeel haalt de handdoeken dan niet weg.

Netjes, mooi, maar je moet overal voor betalen: strandbedden, bedden bij zwembad en pingpong bijvoorbeeld.
En bij het zwembad mogen geen kinderwagens mee en geen baby strandtentjes dus dat is erg onhandig.

Prima uitgestrekte camping met veel faciliteiten, prachtige zwembaden en breed strand met lang ondiep water. Diverse restaurants met lekker lokaal eten. In deze periode voorseizoen was echter nog niet veel open, iedere dag ging er wel iets nieuws open. Nadeel dat je bij het zwembad ook moet betalen voor een ligbed en parasol en zelf ook niks mee mag nemen. Beide kosten 30 kuna en telt met groep van 6 toch aardig op als extra kostenpost. Animatie was nog niet veel bijzonders, minidisco doet het altijd goed. Voor 12-18 was er nog niks. Ook de avond animatie (filmquiz) bleek alleen voor 18+. Sommige activiteiten liggen onlogisch ver weg van het centrumgedeelte zoals de drie midgetgolfbanen en de voetbalvelden.

Van alle gemakken voorzien, maar wel een erg grote camping. Glamping plekken waren vrij dicht op elkaar en aan de kleine kant, de tent was prima.
