A holiday full of fairy tales on a Croatian beach

This campsite in Croatia is located on the Croatian coast on the island of Pag. You will be camping in a natural bay, close to the beach, so take a dip in the sea or bathe in the swimming pool, that’s what Straško campsite is all about! And the children will enjoy themselves, they can join in sports and play games on the campsite. In the evening the whole family can enjoy a film in the open air cinema on the beach next to the campsite.

A holiday in a natural bay in Croatia

The pebble beach next to this campsite on Pag island is two kilometres long. The beach on the Croatian coast around Pag is made up mostly of rocks, but Straško campsite is positioned in a natural, wooded bay with a fine sandy and pebble beach. If you walk beside the Adriatic for one kilometre you will come to touristy Novalja. This is a great place, especially for younger people, as there are plenty of discos. The name ‘the Ibiza of Croatia’ says it all! After an evening out on the town they can share their adventures with their friends, because there is free wifi throughout the campsite.

Swimming pools on the beach

The swimming pools at Straško campsite are located in a great position, right on the beach. Younger children especially will feel at home here; they can splash around in the toddlers’ pool but the other swimming pools are also quite shallow. The beach is also great for children, the Blue Flag means that the beach is safe and the water is clean. If you want to relax completely, go and sit in the whirlpool or take part in a yoga lesson by the sea.

Games and entertainment

The entertainment team ensures a game-filled programme on the beach, in the swimming pool and in the indoor playground. If your children want to amuse themselves, they can always jump on the trampolines and the bouncy castle, or knock a ball around on the tennis court.

Films on the beach

After a day of sport or games, there’s room for a pizza or some fresh fish. Take the children to one of the three restaurants on Straško campsite. All three campsite restaurants are located on the beach, so you will always dine with lovely views of the sea. Treat your children to an ice cream at the beach bar after the meal. When their tummies are full, stay on the beach, because you can all go to the film. The beach is transformed into a real cinema.

The unique lunar landscape of Pag

If you want to discover the Croatian island of Pag, you can do that perfectly by bike. Pag is an unusual island. You will cycle through a large lunar landscape. You’ve never seen Croatia like this! You will discover many lovely little beaches among the rocks and the mountains. It’s always great to take a refreshing dip when out cycling!

Ein großer und schöner Campingplatz. Hier kann man toll Urlaub machen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Die Kinder-Animation könnte sich noch mehr mit den Kindern auseinander setzen und nachts machen doch noch öfter Leute Party obwohl Ruhezeit ist...

Der Campingplatz ist sauber und schön. Leider sind die Wege extrem weit und mit kleinen Kindern ist das schon mühsam. Der Strand ist großartig. Ufer ist Kies und im Wasser Sand.

Am Campingplatz wird sehr viel geboten. Essen in den Restaurants war super. Und der Strand und die Pools waren sehr sauber.

Der Campingplatz ist top und hat alles, was man braucht. Leider wurden die neuen Mobilheime sehr eng aneinander gebaut. Der gemütliche, private Flair geht dadurch verloren. Auch die Beschattung durch Bäume ist viel zu gering. Das trifft auch auf den Strand zu.

Grundsätzlich ein schöner Campingplatz mit allem, das man benötigt. Die Mobilheime sind recht schön aber leider zu eng nebeneinander platziert, man hat kaum Privatsphäre. Abends läuft manchmal ein Kinderprogramm, weshalb es teilweise auch nach 22.00 Uhr noch recht laut war. Auf der Terrasse hält man es auch kaum aus, da sie sich trotz Überdachung extrem erhitzt. Schattenplätze sind viel zu wenige vorhanden - vor allem am Strand mit Kindern ist das etwas mühsam.

Sehr schöne, saubere Anlage. Freundliches hilfsbereites Personal!! Versorgung und Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Unser Mobile Home entsprach der Ausschreibung und war genau das was wir uns erhofft hatten.
Die Lage mit dem Ausblick aufs Meer und die vorgelagerten Inseln ist ein Traum, nicht zu vergessen die spektakulären Sonnenuntergänge!
