This Croatian campsite is a great spot for a holiday full of beach days, but also for a holiday full of fun at the three large swimming pools. Make sure you pack your swimming gear for this camping holiday! Campsite Valkanela is situated on a beautiful green bay. The pebble beach is well maintained and you can walk straight from the campsite to the beach. Sports enthusiasts are also well catered for with bike rides, walks and tennis, for example. Campsite Valkanela is situated on a green bay between Vrsar and Funtana. These Croatian coastal towns are located directly on the Adriatic Sea, less than a ten-minute drive from the campsite. The rocky and pebble beaches on the Istrian peninsula tend to be very beautiful. The little ones can splash around safely in the clear blue sea. The beach at the campsite is also partly accessible to disabled people. Water sports enthusiasts can take to the sea by canoe or jet ski. In for an exciting adventure? One minute you are diving into the sea, and the next you are jumping into the pool. The little ones can have fun in the paddling pool with exciting sprinklers. Slightly more experienced little swimmers can enjoy themselves in the children's pool. And the underwater beds in the largest pool are a great place for taking a break from all the fun. Campsite Valkanela is situated between the forests on the Adriatic Sea. You can camp right by the sea, but also in the shade of pine trees. Perhaps the most beautiful pitches are on the little peninsula. There you will be pitched both under the trees and by the water. If you fancy a completely care-free holiday, the range of luxury accommodations is large. For example, choose a SunLodge. Then you will have two bathrooms and wonderfully soft beds. And within a few steps you’re on the beach!A walk with a view
Vrsar, Poreč and Rovinj are beautiful little towns near the campsite. Vrsar, with its charming boulevard, is within walking distance. Half an hour's walk and you're there. During your walk you can enjoy the view; there are eighteen uninhabited islands near the coast. Poreč is a 15-minute drive, and Rovinj is half an hour away. Are you heading out with the kids? Then pay a visit to the brand new Aquacolors aqua park in Poreč. You can be there in 30 minutes by car. Tip: take Croatian language lessons at the campsite. Then you’ll be prepared when you explore the area. It's always nice to be able to order your food at the campsite in Croatian!

De camping is groot, maar toch overzichtelijk en prachtig gelegen aan een baai. Ideaal om te zwemmen en te snorkelen. De eigen huisjes van de camping zijn goed onderhouden en mooi aangelegd. De camping ligt mooi centraal aan de kust van Istrië waardoor bezoekjes aan andere steden goed te plannen zijn. Minpunt is dat er geen voetbalveldje/pannakooi is.

Rustig. Erg vriendelijk voor honden. Beetje weinig te doen voor pubers maar in de omgeving voldoende mogelijkjeden

Mooie zwembad. Dicht bij zee en leuk kustlijn om langs te wandelen. Omliggendedorpen zijn op loop afstand te doen
