Swimming pools and beaches on the Croatian coast

This Croatian campsite is a great spot for a holiday full of beach days, but also for a holiday full of fun at the three large swimming pools. Make sure you pack your swimming gear for this camping holiday! Campsite Valkanela is situated on a beautiful green bay. The pebble beach is well maintained and you can walk straight from the campsite to the beach. Sports enthusiasts are also well catered for with bike rides, walks and tennis, for example. From the campsite you can make various excursions, for example to water amusement park Aquacolors.

Beaches for everyone on the Croatian coast

Campsite Valkanela is situated on a green bay between Vrsar and Funtana. These Croatian coastal towns are located directly on the Adriatic Sea, less than a ten-minute drive from the campsite. The rocky and pebble beaches on the Istrian peninsula tend to be very beautiful. The little ones can splash around safely in the clear blue sea. The beach at the campsite is also partly accessible to disabled people. Water sports enthusiasts can take to the sea by canoe or jet ski. In for an exciting adventure? Go on a banana boat ride!

Swimming pools for all ages

One minute you are diving into the sea, and the next you are jumping into the pool. The little ones can have fun in the paddling pool with exciting sprinklers. Slightly more experienced little swimmers can enjoy themselves in the children's pool. And the underwater beds in the largest pool are a great place for taking a break from all the fun. The large pool is also suitable for swimming some laps. Fancy a drink? The pool bar is right by the pool.

A day full of fun activities

Attention sports enthusiasts! This campsite has a lot to offer for holidaymakers who want to keep moving. Whether you like tennis, mini golf or beach volleyball. The children can also lose some energy at this campsite. The trampolines and playgrounds will get them moving. If they don't feel like jumping up and down, the entertainment team will keep them busy with sports tournaments, craft workshops and talent shows. After a day full of fun activities, they will certainly be hungry. Take them to one of the restaurants. What do you fancy for dinner? A typical Croatian meal, a pizza or some French fries on the beach?

Camping by the sea or staying in a SunLodge

Campsite Valkanela is situated between the forests on the Adriatic Sea. You can camp right by the sea, but also in the shade of pine trees. Perhaps the most beautiful pitches are on the little peninsula. There you will be pitched both under the trees and by the water. If you fancy a completely care-free holiday, the range of luxury accommodations is large. For example, choose a SunLodge. Then you will have two bathrooms and wonderfully soft beds. And within a few steps you’re on the beach!

A walk with a view

Vrsar, Poreč and Rovinj are beautiful little towns near the campsite. Vrsar, with its charming boulevard, is within walking distance. Half an hour's walk and you're there. During your walk you can enjoy the view; there are eighteen uninhabited islands near the coast. Poreč is a 15-minute drive, and Rovinj is half an hour away. Are you heading out with the kids? Then pay a visit to the brand new Aquacolors aqua park in Poreč. You can be there in 30 minutes by car. Tip: take Croatian language lessons at the campsite. Then you’ll be prepared when you explore the area. It's always nice to be able to order your food at the campsite in Croatian!

War alles soweit ok allerdings ist der Campingplatz sehr groß und auch etwas überteuert.
Der Stand ist super sehr weitläufig und für jeden was dabei.

Der Campingplatz ist sehr groß und verfügt über verschiedene Gelände-Einheiten: freie Platzwahl im Wald, Parzellen im Halbwald, Parzellen am Wasser, schöne Parzelle am Wasser… und Plätze für Pechvögel, neben dem Eingang. Die Straße ist laut, kein Schatten. Die bekommt man wenn mit SunCamp gebucht. Aber zuerst wird man vom einem Pitch zum möchten gejagt, weil die Belegung nicht im Computer fest gehalten wird.
Die Organisation des Platzes ist schlecht. 1 Rezeption mit einer einzigen Tür. Schlange Tag ein Tag aus zum einchecken. Auschecken geht 2 Stunden!!!

Strand und Platz waren sehr schön.
Das uns am nächsten gelegene Sanitärhaus leider zu klein für die Menschen die es genutzt haben.
Die Wartezeiten an der Rezeption leider unzumutbar.

Der Platz liegt an einer kleinen Bucht. Es gibt eine große Poolanlage, Minigolf, Tennis und Beachvolleyball. Die Anlage ist sehr weitläufig und endet bei einem AI Hotel. Die Mobilheime befinden sich etwas weiter hinten.

Schön angelegter und gepflegter Platz mit viel Strandzugang und vielen Angeboten. Leider alles kostenpflichtig, selbst die Nutzung der Tischtennisplatten und Trampoline, das sollte eigentlich im (nicht gerade günstigen) Grundpreis inbegriffen sein. Leider am Wochenende an der Bar sehr laute Musik bis tief in die Nacht.

Der Campingplatz ist sehr schön. Er ist sehr groß, aber dennoch verläuft es sich, so dass nirgends größere Menschenansammlungen sind. Es gibt alles was man braucht (Bäcker, Restaurants, Gemüseladen). Lediglich der CheckIn/CheckOut ist nicht gut organisiert. Hier steht man ewig lange in der Schlange.

Der Campingplatz war von der Lage in ortnung aber das Personal sowie die sanitär Anlagen gingen garnicht. Und von den hygienischen Maßnahmen wegen corona war auch wenig zu sehen.

Sehr guter Sanitärbereich! Schwimmbad öffnet zu spät, Pizza togo nur bis 19Uhr.Der Supermarkt renovierungsbedürftig .
Vom Platz her ein entspannter Urlaub.
