Campsite Istria Croatia
Campsites in Istria are a superb showcase for the joys of the Adriatic coast. Istria is the Adriatic’s largest peninsula and a wonderful base for your holiday. Istria is an excellent choice for a holiday in the sun but equally it is an area bursting with culture: for instance, you could easily visit the remains of the Roman city of Pula from your campsite. Istria promises to be a great holiday location whatever you end up doing!

Umag is a beautiful resort, close to porec which is another great resort and 45 minutes from the airport. The areas were very clean and well maintained with a fantastic array of beach activities.

Novigrad and porec are close to the campsite. In the mountains, there's a wonderful little village, groznjan, which worth seeing.

Close to beach and local town. Also local bus route to pula located outside camp. The campsite has a number of restaurants with very good menus and are quite reasonable. The campsite also has 3 pools which are very safe and have lifeguard cover. The local beach has numerous ameneties and caters for all interests e.g. Scuba diving, kayaking, windsurfing erg.

Lovely climate in august, with a few heavy showers. Istria is very touristy, so if you're looking for a genuine croatian experience then you won't find it. Bus routes and cycle paths need to be improved by the umag campsite.

Lodges are well set out and the area was very quiet (which was good) even though the lodges are fairly close together

Near to pula,so we didn't have to hire a car to get from airport to campsite. Beautiful location, encouraging trees and wildlife. Superb piece of coastline for swimming and snorkelling.
