A new year with three new glamping destinations! Put your cares aside during a glamping holiday and enjoy all that comfort and luxury. You don’t need to take much stuff with you and when you arrive everything will be ready for you. As glamping experts, we search out the loveliest campsites for you every year. I will take you to our three newest glamping locations in this blog. Discover popular Lake Garda or explore beautiful Tuscany. The choice is yours.

1. Eurocamping Pacengo | Lake Garda

The friendly Pacengo family campsite is located on the popular Lake Garda in the town of Pacengo. This typical Italian village is surrounded by vineyards. The campsite slopes down gently to Lake Garda. That will give you lovely views of course, wherever you are on the campsite. Eurocamping Pacengo has been in the same Italian family for years, and that’s something you’ll notice. This family knows how to make all campers happy, whatever their age. You notice that as soon as you arrive at this small-scale family campsite on Lake Garda. No wonder that Suncamp has built a large, luxurious glamping park at this campsite!

Look higher up

If you want to enjoy breathtaking views over Lake Garda with your children, take the cable car in the village of Malcesine. This will take you to the top of Monte Baldo in ten minutes. The cable car turns 360° on the last stretch and you have fabulous views of the mountain. Once you are on top you’ll have wonderful views of Lake Garda. You can also go for a lovely walk, literally and figuratively a highlight! Tip: go nice and early in the morning, the queue is not so long then. And take a sweater, it can be quite fresh up there.

A new glamping park: luxury and comfort

It’s not just the familiar SunLodge accommodation that you’ll find at Pacengo glamping park, you’ll find our newest and most luxurious luxury lodge tents: the Taiga & Kambi and the Yucca. The Taiga & Kambi is a most unusual tent, it actually has a smaller lodge tent next to it, especially for the children. We’ve called this tent the Kambi. It means the youngsters can have their adventure, but they are always close to their parents. Seven of you can camp in the Taiga & Kambi.

You can also sleep under real canvas every night in the Yucca. You can experience this unique style of camping with four of you, but still with the comfort of glamping accommodation. You can sleep in a four poster bed and the dirty pots and pans go in the dishwasher. How about that! We’ve thought of everything in this accommodation.

Let the holiday begin

But sleeping in a new lodge tent means even more luxury. Everything you need to make your camping holiday complete will be waiting for you. Unpack your cases and your holiday can begin immediately. Perfect! Make yourself a delicious coffee using your own Nespresso machine, and freshen up under your own rain shower! Then enjoy breakfast on your shaded patio. Relax after breakfast for a while in one of the super-comfortable loungers.

2. Camping & Village Montescudaio | Tuscany

The sun begins to shine. Time for another day at Montescudaio campsite. The children can’t wait to go and jump in the swimming pool. Nothing strange about that, for this child-friendly campsite actually has three large swimming pools, and even the youngest can splash about in the shallow pool. A day beside the sea is also wonderful, and you can take a dip in the Mediterranean less than five kilometres away. Sun block, towels, swimming costumes, and off you go!

Which glamping accommodation will you choose?

You’re back at the campsite after a busy day. What could be better than relaxing in a SunLodge. There is plenty of choice. There are luxury mobile homes and lodge tents at Montescudaio campsite. You can choose from three luxurious lodge tents, for five, seven or eight people.
Stay overnight for example in the luxury Catalpa mobile home. Luxury in abundance. Prepare a delicious meal on the cooking island which you can then enjoy on the shaded patio. This luxurious mobile home is suitable for five people. The SunLodge BigLeaf is a real holiday home for the whole family. A dishwasher, rain shower, three bedrooms and a built-in Bluetooth system are all there and ready for you. So, which music do you want? Six of you can sleep in the Big Leaf.

3. Village Norcenni Girasole | Tuscany

You want to enjoy the camping life – but you also want to soak up some culture, right? In that case Village Norcenni Girasole is the perfect campsite. The beautiful city of Florence is less than a thirty kilometre drive from the campsite.
Have a look inside the beautiful Firenze cathedral. Its dome can be seen from the distant surroundings of Florence. The closer you get, the more beautiful it is, especially in its details. You will also find one of the most famous bridges in the world in Florence, the Ponte Vecchio. There are small shops, musicians and portrait artists on this old bridge.

But you don’t need to leave the campsite to have a great time, there’s enough to do for everyone. Children can take a dip in the water park and jump into the swimming pool to float down the lazy river, while you enjoy the delicious meal you prepared during an informative cooking lesson.

A breathtaking view

Enjoy the setting sun with a delicious glass of wine on the patio of your own SunLodge while you gaze out across the Tuscan hills. That’s a real holiday!
