General information
A swimming lake next door for a great holiday!
Wake up to the sound of birdsong. Have a stretch, and enjoy the peace and quiet. When you roll out of your bed after that, you'll be standing by the water of the lake. Wonderful! EuroParcs Zilverstrand has peace and quiet, but also plenty to do for young and old. Are you coming?
Natural beauty for the taking
This holiday park is located in the north of Belgium, near the towns of Mol, Lommel and Geel. This region is called De Antwerpse Kempen; the campine of Antwerp. The holiday park is located an hour's drive from Antwerp. The region is wooded and water rich. Zilvermeer Lake is around the corner. The Den Diel, De Maat and Buitengoor nature reserves are also close by. This makes the campsite an ideal base for an extensive walking or cycling tour.
Relaxing in the tub
You'll also find plenty to do at the campsite. Water lovers especially will have plenty to enjoy. There’s a swimming lake with a slide, for example. Whether you want to swim, sunbathe or fish, it's all possible here. Would you rather swim in warm water? No problem, EuroParcs Zilverstrand also has an indoor pool. Here you'll find a Turkish steam bath, sauna and a whirlpool bubble bath. There is a nice baby and toddler pool for the little ones. Outside high season the swimming facilities are only open in the weekends.
You’ll want to stay forever
This campsite also has plenty to do that is not water related. There’s a cable car, panna court, mini golf course, and more. There is also an entertainment team and a cool indoor playground with jumping pillow (inflatable trampoline).
Cycling between the treetops
After all that fun on the campsite, you're probably ready for an outing. The campsite is situated on the main road (N712), making it a short journey to all the local sights. For example, put the bike on the back of the car and drive to Bosland. Here you will find a bicycle bridge at a height of 10 meters. You’ll be literally cycling between the treetops! For a dip into history, a visit to the Abbey of Postel is an excellent idea. Here you can visit the information centre, check out the Abbey shop or (on request) take a guided tour.
There also is plenty for children to do in the area. Make a loop-de-loop in one of the roller coasters at amusement park Bobbejaanland, for example. Or meet the exotic animals in Antwerp Zoo. There's plenty to see, and it’s best to do so with your own eyes.
